“Dragonfly” | Anthony Satori
“When a man does not dwell in ego, then things will of themselves reveal their forms to him. His movement is like that of water, his stillness is like that of a mirror, his responses like those of an echo.”
– Chuang Tzu
“Dolphins” | Anthony Satori
“Happiness is the absence of the striving for happiness.”
– Chuang Tzu
Relax. Exist fully in this moment. This is enough. You are enough. This moment is a miracle. Find the love in it, find the peace in it, find the joy in it. It is often the frantic chasing of happiness that makes us the most miserable. Instead, just sit back, breathe, and calm your mind. Be grateful. Be amazed. Be content. “From contentment, supreme happiness is obtained.” (Patanjali,Yoga Sutra 2.42) It is only when we learn to relax into true contentment that any real, lasting happiness can appear and manifest itself.
“Yellow and Black Butterfly” | Anthony Satori
“Once upon a time, I dreamt I was a butterfly, fluttering hither and thither, to all intents and purposes a butterfly. I was conscious only of my happiness as a butterfly, unaware that I was Zhuangzi. Soon I awakened, and there I was, veritably myself again. Now I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly, dreaming I am a man.”
– Chuang Tzu (Zhuangzi)
“A Fish in Water” –|– Anthony Satori
“We do not hear nature boasting about being nature, nor water holding a conference on the technique of flowing. So much rhetoric would be wasted on those who have no use for it. The man of Tao lives in the Tao, like a fish in water. If we tried to teach a fish that water is physically compounded of two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen, the fish would laugh its head off.”
– Al Chung-liang Huang

“Tree” | Anthony Satori
“The key to growth is the introduction of higher dimensions of consciousness into our awareness.”
— Lao Tzu

“Feline Soul” | Anthony Satori
“One who lives in harmony with oneself lives in harmony with the universe.”
— Marcus Aurelius

“Birds in the Blue Sky” | Anthony Satori
“Man takes his law from the Earth; the Earth takes its law from Heaven; Heaven takes its law from the Tao. The law of the Tao is its being what it is.”
— Lao Tzu
