Select Your Thoughts
“Windblown Sand” | Anthony Satori
“We need to learn how to select our thoughts just the same way we select our clothes every day. This is a power that can be cultivated. If you want to control things in your life, work on the mind. That’s the only thing you should be trying to control.”
– Elizabeth Gilbert
Supreme Happiness
“Dolphins” | Anthony Satori
“Happiness is the absence of the striving for happiness.”
– Chuang Tzu
Relax. Exist fully in this moment. This is enough. You are enough. This moment is a miracle. Find the love in it, find the peace in it, find the joy in it. It is often the frantic chasing of happiness that makes us the most miserable. Instead, just sit back, breathe, and calm your mind. Be grateful. Be amazed. Be content. “From contentment, supreme happiness is obtained.” (Patanjali,Yoga Sutra 2.42) It is only when we learn to relax into true contentment that any real, lasting happiness can appear and manifest itself.
Vibrational Energy
“Tuning Fork (432 Hz)” | Anthony Satori
Our mind is the locus of our consciousness, and consciousness is the foundation and source of all reality. Therefore, if you wish to elevate and improve your reality, you must first begin by elevating your thoughts and your words. Adjust your vibrational energy toward peace, love, health, and virtue, and everything else will follow.
A Quiet Life
“Tennis on a Sunny Day” | Anthony Satori
“A happy life must be to a great extent a quiet life, for it is only in an atmosphere of quiet that true joy dare live.”
– Bertrand Russell
Joy in Living
“Three Chairs” | Anthony Satori
“We will be more successful in all of our endeavors if we can let go of the habit of running all the time, and take little pauses to relax and re-center ourselves. And we’ll also have a lot more joy in living.”
– Thich Nhat Hanh
Where the Gods Live Serene
“Gibbous Moon” | Anthony Satori
“A person of powerful intellect is capable of taking a vivid interest in things in the way of mere knowledge, with no admixture of will. It places him in a sphere where pain is an alien – a diviner air, where the gods live serene.”
– Arthur Schopenhauer
Angel in Blue
“Angel in Blue” | Anthony Satori
“Poetry fettered, fetters the human race. Nations are destroyed or flourish in proportion as their poetry, painting, and music are destroyed or flourish.”
