“Exuberance”  |  Anthony Satori

[a poem]

Today I sang, I saw beauty, I spoke poetry, I felt joy.

I held wonder and sunlight in my open hands, until they overflowed.

And then I set out in search of you, to share the treasures I’d found.

Dark Side of the Moon

“Moon Dust”  |  Anthony Satori

Just a few short weeks after NASA landed the Insight rover on the surface of Mars, the Chinese space program successfully landed a probe on the previously unexplored “dark side” of the moon.  What wonderful accomplishments!  I cannot wait to find out what we see, what we discover, and what we can all learn from these missions.  Science, art, nature, spirituality — these are such crucial areas of exploration, because they each, in their own way, make us realize how we all, as humans, have so much more in common than we have differences between us.

The Fountain of Good

“Winter Flowers”  |  Anthony Satori

“Look within.  Within is the fountain of good, and it will ever bubble up, if thou wilt ever dig.”

— Marcus Aurelius

I’ve always been fascinated with, and delighted by, flowers that bloom at night, or in the heart of winter.  I find the mere existence of such joyfully contrarian and ebullient elements in nature to be both refreshing and inspiring.  Winter-blooming flowers are truly demonstrating what it means to dig into one’s own innate “fountain of good,” and to create one’s own most pure and natural beauty from within one’s own true self.

“i thank you God for most this amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes.”

“This Is Not An Apple”  |  Anthony Satori

It is always worth the effort to strive to understand the heart and mind of someone that you love.  Approach each other with compassion and empathy.  Give the process time and space.  And always leave room for silence and breath.  If you do these things, you will always find yourself returning to a place of resonance, peace, and harmony.

“Nobody else can live the life you live.  And even though no human being is perfect, we always have the chance to bring what’s unique about us to live in a redeeming way.”
