“Shining Beauty” | Anthony Satori
“Her prayer was scarcely done when a heavy numbness seized her limbs, a thin bark closed around her gentle bosom, and her hair became as moving leaves; her arms were changed into waving branches, and her feet – so swift a moment ago – stuck fast in slow-growing roots. Her face was lost in a canopy of encircling laurels. Only her shining beauty was left.”
– Ovid (The Metamorphoses)

Thank you. This is beautiful.

How I so dearly miss sitting at that table in deep conversation, singing hymns and smelling those roses that always had the most wonderful fragrance.
